Royan Truck & Trailer Repairs wins VACC award
The Melbourne branch of the nationally recognised Royan Truck & Trailer Repairs Group, Royans Melbourne, has won the 2017 Best Commercial Vehicle Body Repairer Award.
Given out by the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC), the Award honours best practice in vehicle repairing based on key criteria such as the age and state of the winner’s repair facilities, the quality of repairs as per client feedback and environmental friendliness.
As a ‘VACC Green Stamp Plus’ accredited company that has just installed a large solar power array (see image below), Royans Melbourne’s efforts in the sustainability area reportedly played an important role in winning the award.
“Royan’s Melbourne branch operates out of a modern purpose-built facility that was completed in 2009. It is without doubt the best presented heavy vehicle accident repair centre in the country, boasting the very latest in repair equipment,” Geoff Gwilym, Executive Director of the VACC, commented on the win.
David Church, Managing Director of Royans Melbourne and Board Member of the Royans Group, also pointed to the company’s experienced team as a key success factor: “With a team of 55, Royans Melbourne proudly claims to have some of the best staff in the business,” he said.
“There are more than 40 workshop staff, some of whom are master craftsmen with many years of repairs experience, and some who have been with Royans Melbourne since it first opened in 1984.”
